September 2016 - Small Business Coach, Women Business Coaching - Client Attraction

In case you’ve ever wondered when “it” will all click into place, the day you finally experience what it feels like to make the money that matches the effort you’re putting into your business, I want to let you know that there is indeed a proven formula you can follow…

…a formula that allows you to be more highly paid in your business.

Now, just a heads up – it requires a level of self-inquiry that I promise will serve you. But first, we have to be honest with ourselves. 🙂

It’s about scoring yourself on a scale of 1-10 and getting REAL. Want to know more and see how you can use it to make a lot more this year? The two-minute video below will show you how:

Go easy on yourself, and wherever you fell on the scale of 1-10 that we talked about in the video – it’s ok!

(It’s just a number!)

But, it does show you where there might be room for improvement.

Honest self-reflection is the key to creating shifts that allow you to grow and evolve as a business owner. So is being prolific.

The bottom line is that the most prolific people are the most highly paid. They are constantly generating new marketing ideas, products and services to scale and grow their business, and that produces higher revenues.

To be highly prolific, you must be highly disciplined. And so:

Highly disciplined = Highly paid

But if you’re anything like most business owners I know, maybe you’re not naturally disciplined??

The question then becomes: how do you create more structure, accountability and discipline in your business?

Can you enroll your team in supporting you? An accountability partner who is also a business owner? Are you honoring yourself by sticking to the time blocking in your calendar? Getting direction, clarity, next steps and accountability by working with us?

It all works. You just have to commit to being more disciplined, productive and prolific.

This is a choice, followed by action.

You in?

Take a deep breath. Create your plan. Go forth and be more disciplined.

(I’m here to cheer you on.)

You’ve got this,
Fabienne

P.S. One of the things that I teach my kids to help them cultivate self-worth and self-esteem is to always do the right thing, even when no one’s watching, because their inner self is always watching. Same thing goes for how you “show up” in your business. Confidence comes when you consistently take personal responsibility and do the “right thing.”

I’ve got some truth telling for you today… And I believe it has the power to forever shift how you feel about marketing.

It also has the ability to get you out of procrastination, FOR GOOD. 😉

Especially if you’re someone who struggles with implementation in your business, whether it’s getting your weekly newsletters out, well…weekly, actually getting to that networking group even though you’re tired and busy, or making yourself visible to your ideal prospects by accepting that scary speaking gig…

This is a short video. It’s just under two minutes and I believe it will give you just what you need to get out of your own way and start letting people find you. Watch it now please:

Here’s what I’ve noticed over the years of coaching thousands of business owners. When we focus solely on the money, we get stuck. Yes, things may work, but they feel really hard and effort-y. You know?

But when your focus shifts to being of service to all the people who need you, magic happens.

It was never about the money. It’s about your brownies.

The message I want you to hear clearly from today’s video is that the best way I’ve discovered to get things done, and to stick to my marketing commitments, is by taking the focus off my needs and putting my focus on those I am here to serve.

We have the opportunity to use our life to be of service and make things better for our clients through our work.

We GET to help others. That is an incredible privilege.

And that is the most powerful invitation that I can think of to do whatever needs to be done to get your work in front of the people who need you most.

(The ones who were up tossing and turning, worrying at 3:00 am…not the ones who were dancing.)

Now go share your brownies!
Fabienne

P.S. If you haven’t heard me talk about sharing your brownies before, I mean sharing your gifts.

Your gifts + talents + unique abilities + life experiences + expertise = your brownies.

And just like having a houseful of guests, and baking up a delicious batch, and letting all your guests smell the wonderful smell…and then NOT giving them any of the warm brownies would be totally selfish… not sharing your gifts as abundantly as you can is selfish too. Now, get out there and be seen! <3

P.P.S. See you on tomorrow’s free live-stream, right? 🙂

If you’re married or in a long-term partnership, I’m guessing you are going to be very interested in this week’s video. (And even if you aren’t, there are important lessons in it for you about making big decisions…)

One of things I know to be difficult is when you feel like you don’t have the support of your spouse or partner (or anyone that matters to you in your life) to make the big decisions that you know will move your business forward.

In this clip, Derek and I reenact the time I made a huuuuuuuge investment in myself before telling him. This is us very authentically sharing how he responded.

In this week’s video, you get a sneak peek into a moment that changed everything for us… Just a heads up, there is a touch of profanity, so if there are kids around, distract them for 5 minutes, OK? 😉

Watch the video now:

Here’s the deal.

An uncertainty you feel inside will get reflected back to you on the outside.

Whether it’s from your spouse or in your results, the level of CERTAINTY that you embody within yourself will be directly reflected back to you externally.

It’s the “kinda sortas” that will get you every time. If you make a decision and you “kinda sorta” think you’ll get results, then I can already tell you what the outcome of that decision will be…

…probably not the outcome you want.

It is the CONVICTION and COMMITMENT to follow through on your decision with purpose that yields the results.

My conviction is why Derek supported the big decision I’d made in the video (well, also that he’s an amazing husband), and my conviction is also why that decision yielded the 10x return that it did.

Making fast decisions quickly is often touted as a criteria for being successful in business and in life. But whether it’s gaining the support of a resistant spouse or creating a return on an investment you are making in yourself…it’s actually embracing your decision fully and with conviction that makes the difference.

Go be decisive. It will change everything.

Fabienne

P.S. Oh, and DO THE WORK. Whether it’s a $500 investment that you’re making to grow your business or a $100,000 investment, the money isn’t the magic pill. The confidence that you get as you follow through with your commitment is the actual magic.

If you’ve ever felt challenged with figuring out who your ideal client is, please watch this week’s video

You’ll see me coach one of our Growth Track students, Donna, who (perhaps like you) has lots of talents and passions and enjoys working with different clients in different ways.

She’s also in a situation (perhaps also like you) where she’s been doing business one way and wants to shift things.

So as a multi-faceted, multi-interested business owner who has learned that identifying your ideal client is a very important marketing strategy…what do you do?

Well, watch this week’s 5-minute video to find out:

I know, I may have been a little snarky about the guy at my networking group who told me all those years ago I was “doing it all wrong…” (hee hee)

But it illustrates an important point. This is about finding the people YOU love to serve and that you have the greatest success with. And yes, it is important that they are also people who can pay you, who will give you referrals and see the value in your work.

It is about following your heart and boldly deciding who you want to be a hero to.

Sometimes we think we know who it is we are here to serve, but then we learn that it’s someone else. I’ve worked with 7-figure business owners who change their minds about this even at their level. This is why it’s vital, especially if you are new to business ownership and aren’t sure who your ideal clients are (and even if you’re rocking it at 6-figures plus), that you experiment working with different types of people in the beginning so you can experience who you “mesh with” most.

Don’t take my word for who you should work with. Be open to all possibilities.

(Notice in the video that even though I didn’t agree with Mark, I still listened and took action on his recommendation so that I was coming to a conclusion on my own instead of making an assumption based on someone else’s limited reasoning.)

And then you’ll know who you love working with, who also pays you well for your work, and you’ll be crystal clear on your ideal client. No guessing required.

Now go find those 100 clients!

Much love,
Fabienne

P.S. The decisions we make in our business from actual experiences, feedback and results are so much better than the ones we decide in our heads. Be in the work. It’s where the answers live.
